Five sides, one promise

What actually makes a stay here different

Not the marble in the lobby. The things you notice at 3am, on a deadline, or with two tired children in the back of the car.
  • Power that never blinks

Full-load generator on automatic changeover with a battery bridge. Your call doesn't drop when the street goes dark.

  • Fibre that holds

100 Mbps in guest rooms on a protected circuit, no login walls, no device limits, no fair-use throttle.

  • A kitchen worth staying in for

Charcoal-finished jollof, fresh fish pepper soup and a breakfast eggs station from 6:30am.

  • Events with their own front door

The Pentagon Hall seats 300 and never queues behind hotel check-in.

  • Five minutes from UNIPORT

The closest full-service hotel to the Choba campus, and 35 minutes from the airport.

  • Book direct, pay less

We hold back a rate the travel sites never see, and direct guests get free parking and first call on room requests.

The generator never blinked
Three nights, three power cuts on the street, and I did not notice one of them. The Wi-Fi held up for two client calls a day. Breakfast is genuinely good — ask for the eggs done at the station.

Best value in Choba, no contest
Booked the Double King Room on a whim because the university guest house was full. Ended up extending twice. Staff know your name by day two, which sounds small until you've stayed somewhere that doesn't.

Two kids, one suite, zero complaints
The Family Spring Room fit all four of us without anyone climbing over a bed, which is the only feature that mattered to us. Pool has a shallow end with a lifeguard at weekends. Kids ate free and ate a lot.

Lovely wedding venue
We had 160 guests on the Garden Terrace. The events team ran the timeline better than our own planner did. Only note — the marquee took a while to go up, so build in more time in the rainy season.

Conference ran without a hitch
Two hundred delegates in the Pentagon Hall. Separate entrance meant we never mixed with hotel check-in. AV team were on it before we asked. Lunch service for 200 came out in under twenty minutes.

The jollof is not a marketing claim
Stayed two nights, ate at Solomon's four times. The charcoal finish is real. Room was quiet, bed was firm, shower was hot at 5:30am which is all I ask of a hotel.
